Seedance 2.5 "Unlimited" on Higgsfield: 33 Days of Fine Print

TL;DR — The 33-day Seedance window is over, and on 24 August 2026 no Seedance model on Higgsfield carries an unlimited badge.

Unlimited today sits on Nano Banana Pro, Nano Banana 2 and Kling 3.0, and it still runs in the slow queue behind a switch you've got to find. This guide walks through the plan cards, the queues, and the fine print so you know what you're buying before you pay.

When this article went live in August 2026, Higgsfield was running a 33-day unlimited Seedance window. That promo is over, and the unlimited badges now sit on completely different tools. If you're holding your card with a checkout tab open, here's what the plans actually buy you today.

What unlimited covers on Higgsfield today

Higgsfield sells three paid individual plans: Starter, Plus and Ultra, alongside a Free plan with limited use. There's no Pro plan.

Starter costs $19 a month, Plus costs $59 a month, and Ultra starts at $129 a month. Ultra also sells bigger monthly tiers at $220 and $310.

Starter gives you 270 monthly credits, Plus gives you 1,200, and the $129 Ultra tier includes 3,000 credits. The larger Ultra options give you 6,000 and 9,000.

All listed prices exclude VAT and local taxes, which you'll see at checkout. Higgsfield also personalises its annual discount per account, so that annual figure moves depending on if you're signed in.

On 24 August 2026, the unlimited badges don't apply to Seedance. Instead, they sit on three specific models: Nano Banana Pro, Nano Banana 2 and Kling 3.0.

Here's how those badges break down across the cards:

  • Starter: No unlimited access on any model.
  • Plus: Nano Banana 2 (at 2K) and Kling 3.0 carry a "7-day unlimited" badge. Nano Banana Pro has no unlimited access.
  • Ultra: All three models carry "7-day unlimited", with Nano Banana Pro and Nano Banana 2 running at 2K.

Higgsfield also advertises a 365 Unlimited promo. This gives you one year of unlimited generation on the models named on your plan card, but it only stays live while your subscription does. In Higgsfield's own words, "If you cancel your subscription or switch to a lower plan that doesn't include 365 Unlimited, unlimited access stops immediately when your current plan ends." Upgrading keeps the full 12 months.

Starter can't touch Seedance at all

If you pick the $19 Starter plan hoping to make clips with Seedance, you'll hit a hard wall. The Starter card explicitly reads "NO ACCESS TO SEEDANCE 2.5 — Available from Plus plan".

Starter marks both Seedance 2.5 and Seedance 2.0 as "No access". On Starter, you only get access to Seedance 2.0 Fast and Seedance 2.0 Mini.

To use the main models, you've got to step up to Plus ($59) or Ultra ($129). Both plan cards carry "ACCESS TO SEEDANCE MODELS — Full line-up included". On those two tiers, you get Seedance 2.5 at 1080p and Seedance 2.0 at 4K, paid for with your monthly credits.

Unlimited is a switch, and it's off until you flip it

On Higgsfield, unlimited generation isn't the default setting. It sits behind a toggle called Unlimited inside the generation menu.

According to Higgsfield's FAQ, unlimited "lets you generate content without spending credits on supported models, resolutions, or quality tiers included in your plan". But that only happens when the switch is turned on.

When you turn Unlimited off, you enter Credit Mode. In Higgsfield's own words, you can "turn off Unlimited at any time to generate faster using credits ... bypass the standard queue and return to maximum speed instantly".

If you miss that toggle, the platform charges credits for every video you make. You can burn through your entire monthly balance while thinking your clips are free. Flip Unlimited on to save your credits in the standard queue, and switch it off only when you want to spend credits for speed.

Unlimited runs in the slow lane, by design

When you flip Unlimited on, your jobs move into a slower generation lane. You're trading speed for free clips.

Higgsfield splits its lanes by design. In its own words: "Unlimited generations run in the standard queue, while credit-based generations always run in the priority queue."

That standard queue comes with three key limits:

  • Dynamic Speed Adjustment: Higgsfield states that "Generation speed and concurrency may temporarily vary during periods of exceptionally high system load or peak traffic hours." Concurrency means how many clips run at once.
  • Web only: Unlimited access works only in your browser. As Higgsfield notes, "Unlimited models and Free Generations on plans are accessible only via higgsfield.ai and are not accessible on MCP/CLI, Canvas or Supercomputer."
  • Fair use limits: Unlimited is for personal human use only. Higgsfield bans automation, sharing account logins, and reselling access. Unusual activity can pause your Unlimited access pending a manual account review.

When the site gets busy, standard queue jobs wait behind every paid priority generation. That isn't a glitch; it's how the platform is built to work.

The credits you don't spend don't wait for you

Higgsfield has strict expiration rules for every credit balance on your account.

Higgsfield's documentation confirms: "Subscription credits do not roll over and expire at the end of each credit cycle." If you've got credits left over when your monthly renewal hits, you lose them.

If you buy extra Credit Packs, those credits expire 90 days after you buy them. Plus, you can't use pack credits you bought without an active paid subscription.

If you cancel your plan, your unspent plan credits "Expire permanently" at the end of your billing cycle. If you have extra pack credits left, they're "Accessible again on reactivation, if the 90-day validity has not expired".

What the 33-day Seedance window actually was

The 33-day Seedance window wasn't a permanent plan upgrade. It was a timed promotional campaign built around one specific model.

When that window closed, the unlimited badge left Seedance entirely. Today, those promotional badges sit on Nano Banana Pro, Nano Banana 2 and Kling 3.0 instead. That's the shape of unlimited offers on this platform: temporary promo windows for named tools, not permanent features you keep.

Artlist sold a year and pulled it in a week

Higgsfield isn't the only platform that changed its unlimited terms quickly. In early August 2026, Artlist launched a campaign offering unlimited Seedance 2.5 for a full year on an annual AI subscription.

Artlist advertised this 365-day offer against competitors that only offered a week. Within days of the launch, Artlist pulled Seedance 2.5 from its unlimited tier completely. Artlist moved subscribers to a credit allowance instead.

Today, Artlist's help article "AI Toolkit: Understanding Unlimited Models" lists no Seedance 2.5 in any unlimited tier. The documentation now says flatly: "Not all plans include unlimited models. On these plans, all AI generations require credits. There are no unlimited models."

What Artlist's unlimited tier covers today is restricted to older, smaller models making five-second clips at entry tiers.

What to check before you pay

Before you type your card details into any platform selling unlimited video generation, run through these quick checks:

  • Check which models have the badge today: Make sure the tool you want actually carries the unlimited tag right now. Don't trust old screenshots.
  • Check your plan's model access: On Higgsfield, the $19 Starter plan gives you zero access to Seedance 2.5 or Seedance 2.0.
  • Check the switch position: Look for the Unlimited toggle in the menu. If it's off, you're in Credit Mode and burning paid credits.
  • Check the queue rules: Unlimited jobs run in the standard queue (the slow lane), which slows down when traffic peaks.
  • Check credit expiration dates: Monthly plan credits don't roll over, and extra credit packs expire after 90 days if you don't have an active plan.

Where Seadanse sits

If you want to make videos without tracking expiring promos and queue switches, you can test our platform directly. On Seadanse, you can use our Seedance 2.5 AI Video Maker right in your browser with free starter credits when you sign up, no card needed.

You can check what each plan includes or buy a standalone $9.9 credit pack that needs no monthly subscription.

Plan credits expire at the end of each 30-day cycle and don't roll over. Extra credit packs stay valid for 12 months and get spent after your plan credits run out. We queue too, and your plan sets your queue position.

Interrupted or failed generations are refunded automatically to your balance, and exports never carry a watermark. You can generate Seedance 2.5 with flexible settings:

  • Choose resolutions of 480p, 720p or 1080p.
  • Pick clip lengths of 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30 seconds.
  • Pick from six aspect ratios (16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, 21:9), with audio on by default.

When you're ready, you can start a video.
