Full-size phone photos no longer make Seedance videos fail
A photo straight from a high-resolution phone camera, more than 6000 pixels on a side, is now scaled down for you before a Seedance video renders, keeping its shape, so the video goes ahead. Before, such a photo could be refused and the video failed with a general error that never said the photo was too large.

Credit packs now go up to 20,000 credits for $159.9
Credit packs now run from $9.9 for 500 credits to $159.9 for 20,000. The $9.9 and $19.9 packs keep their own cards, and a slider beside them covers 2,500, 7,000, 10,000, 15,000 and 20,000 credits, showing the price, the cost per 1,000 credits and about how many Seedance 2.5 clips each size makes. The $39.9 pack now gives 2,500 credits, up from 2,400. Every pack is a one-time payment, valid for 12 months. Find them on Pricing and in Settings > Credits.
Get 2 or 4 versions of one prompt in a single press
When you're signed in, the generator now shows ×1, ×2 and ×4 next to Generate. Pick ×2 or ×4 and the button reads Generate 4 versions with the total credits, and you get that many takes of the same prompt. Images line up side by side so you can keep the one you like; extra video versions render in the background and land in My videos. Each version is charged on its own, and a version that fails returns its own credits.
After you pay, Seadanse now tells you your video has started
When you buy credits to finish a render, you now come back to a window that says "Payment received. Your video has started." with the credits it used and a View in My videos button. Before, only a brief Task saved note appeared and the button still looked ready, so some people pressed it again and paid for the same video twice. Now, if you press again with the same settings within 2 minutes while that video is still rendering, Seadanse asks first, with Go to My videos or Make another.

Long renders, like 1080p Bulin 47 AI videos, no longer fail before they finish
Some long renders, such as 1080p Bulin 47 AI videos and slower Seedance videos, used to be marked failed while they were still being made: you waited, got your credits back and no video. Seadanse now waits up to 50 minutes for a Wan 3.0 render, up from 15, which covers Bulin 47 AI, Jean Phil AI, Gas Station Dance, Raindance AI and Alors on Danse AI, and gives slow Seedance videos more time too. The page and My videos keep showing them as rendering until they arrive.

Small reference photos are enlarged for you, or flagged at upload
If your photo is only slightly under the model's minimum size, Seadanse now enlarges it and the video renders as normal. If it is too small, you see the minimum size and your photo's size as soon as you pick it, before any credits are held. Before, a small photo could fail after you pressed Generate, with a message that read like a content block.
AI Arrest Filter: one group photo, and police take one of your friends away
Upload one photo of 2 to 6 adults. A police officer walks in, looks everyone over, cuffs one of you and walks them away while everyone else cracks up. You get a 10-second video with sound in 9:16 or 16:9, made with Seedance 2.5: 375 credits at 480p, 500 at 720p or 1,480 at 1080p. No account needed: press Create and pay once.
On Zombie Dog, Zombie Cat and AI Zombie Trend with a dog or cat as Photo 2, the zombie in the first half is now your own pet: the same body, coat, colors, markings and face, on four legs, and healthy again after the cut. Before, it could come out as a hairless creature or a human-faced zombie that looked nothing like your pet.
Gas Station Dance now keeps the right person in each spot
In Gas Station Dance, the person from your Car photo now stays the same from stepping out of the car to standing beside it, and the closing selfie shows the person from your Selfie photo. Before, the person by the car could turn into your Selfie person mid-shot, or the closing selfie kept the man from the original clip.
The Last Hug Zombie: a parent and child's last hug in a 20-second video
Add photo 1 of the one who turns into a zombie and photo 2 of the one they love: a parent or a child of any age, a baby too. On a train platform the zombie reaches out, the video cuts to a memory under cherry blossoms, then comes back for one last hug and a tear. Videos made on free credits carry a watermark. Now, for trial videos you make from October 7 on, your first purchase of a credit pack or plan swaps each one for a clean copy shortly after, with a new cover, so the version you watch, share or download has no watermark. Before, buying unlocked the download button but the file still had the watermark.

Videos you made without an account now stay with you when you sign in
When you pay on an effect page without an account, the email with the Keep my videos button now arrives for every purchase. After you sign in with Google or GitHub, the videos you made before play, download and share as normal, including any that had gone black. Before, some purchases got no email at all, and signing in left those videos with a black player and downloads that came out as empty 0 KB files.
