Alors on Danse AI is the AI video meme where people recast a 30-second white-studio clip of Stromae and Jamel Debbouze, at a small black keyboard and an open laptop, with two people of their own: friends, couples, characters or pets.
One person builds a beat at the mini keyboard and the laptop. The other points at the ceiling, taps their wrist to the beat and leans into the lens for a big, grinning close-up. The two crack up laughing and dance off across the white floor. The music is "Alors on danse" by Belgian singer Stromae. The title is French for "And so we dance". It came out in Belgium on September 26, 2009, and reached No. 1 in 19 countries.
The scene comes from a comedy sketch, not a making-of. It is from Made in Jamel, the comedy DVD of French actor and comedian Jamel Debbouze, released on December 1, 2010, where Jamel pretends to teach Stromae his own song. In July 2026, an X post turned the real clip into a meme captioned "Me at 3AM vibe coding with Claude Code". The AI version started on X on October 3, 2026, and the first one passed 749,000 views by October 9, 2026. Within a week, people shared versions with friends, couples, fantasy characters, elders in traditional dress and pets.
AI edits the original clip and swaps in two new people. The studio, the moves, the timing and the camera stay, and the clip's original sound goes back under the video.
Seadanse builds the 30-second studio clip and its original sound into our Alors on Danse AI generator. Add two photos, Keys on the left and Hype on the right, and get the full 30-second video in 4:3, at 480p or 720p, as an MP4 with no watermark on exported video. One 720p video is $9.90, with no subscription and no sign-up.
