The Ballon d'Or filter is the TikTok AI prank trend where one photo becomes a 10-second video of you winning the Ballon d'Or. The video shows you standing up in the audience of a gala, walking up to the stage, receiving the golden ball trophy and kissing it. People send it to their parents or the family chat so they think they really won, and post it with lines like "Making my parents think I won the Ballon d'Or". People also call it the Ballon d'Or AI filter, the Ballon d'Or prank and the golden ball prank.
Two shots tell the story in order. First is the audience shot: you button your tuxedo jacket, stand, shake hands with the guest beside you, a woman with long honey-blonde hair in a black strapless gown, and kiss her on the cheek, then walk to the stage and climb the lit steps, seen from behind. Second is the stage shot: a white-haired presenter hands you the golden ball trophy, you hold it with both hands, kiss it and look straight into the camera with a proud smile as gold confetti falls. The gala hall is a grand old theatre with red velvet seats, gilded balconies and a full house in black tie. Whoever wins wears a black tuxedo, a white shirt and a black tie in every shot.
French creator j4ms made the effect as a CapCut template on October 22, 2026. j4ms's TikTok post with the line "prank tes parents avec ce filtre ballon d'or" ("prank your parents with this Ballon d'Or filter") passed 2.3 million views the next day. A Spanish how-to posted on October 24, 2026, with a dog version, passed 800,000 views, and the template was used more than 130,000 times by October 26, 2026. The trend's sound is "original sound - k3lvin231", from a video @k3lvin231 posted on September 23, 2026, that passed 16 million views. The song is "Детство" ("Detstvo", Russian for "Childhood") by Rauf & Faik.
The inspiration is the 70th Ballon d'Or ceremony on October 26, 2026, at the London Palladium in London, the first edition held outside Paris. The Ballon d'Or filter took off in the days before it.
Seadanse builds the whole ceremony, the tuxedo and the trend's original sound into our Ballon d'Or filter. Add one photo, pick Person or Pet, and get a 10-second vertical 9:16 video for TikTok and Reels. Choose 480p, 720p or 1080p, with no watermark on exported video. One 720p video is $9.90, paid once with no sign-up. Everything runs right in your web browser, with no template link to find and no app to install.
Our Ballon d'Or filter builds the entire gala hall, the presenter and the golden ball trophy straight into your video. You get the audience shot and the stage shot in a 10-second vertical 9:16 MP4 with no watermarks.
Step onto the stage dressed in a black tuxedo with satin lapels, a crisp white shirt and a slim black tie. Our Ballon d'Or filter puts your face and hair onto the winner of a fixed gala clip, the same in both shots, while everyone else in the clip stays as it is.
Skip the audio search because the trend's original sound plays under your video from the very start. Our Ballon d'Or filter attaches the viral audio automatically so your video is ready to share with no extra editing.
Choose the Person scene for yourself, a friend or a character, or pick the Pet scene to dress your dog or cat in a black suit. Our Ballon d'Or filter makes your pet the winner, with its own head on an upright body in the black tuxedo, in a gala made fresh around it at the exact same price.
Bring one selfie to get a 10-second video of you in a black tuxedo kissing the golden ball trophy. Send it to your parents or the family chat with "I didn't want to tell you before…", then reveal the AI video.

Yes, it keeps your face. In the Person scene, your face and hair go onto the winner, the same in both shots. You need no tuxedo in your photo, because whoever wins wears a black tuxedo, a white shirt, and a black tie in every shot, whatever they wear in their photo. The background of your photo is left out.
Upload one photo of one person or one character with their face clear, facing the camera, in good light. For the Pet scene, upload one photo of one dog or cat. What you wear in your photo does not matter, because you always win in a black tuxedo.
Yes. Pick the Pet scene and add one photo of your dog or cat. Your pet is the winner, with its own head on an upright body in the black tuxedo, in a gala made fresh around it for each video. Person and Pet cost the same.
Yes. The Person scene takes a cartoon, anime, or game character, as well as an AI-made character or a real person. The character keeps its own face and hair and wins the Ballon d'Or in the black tuxedo.
