No Scrubs AI is the AI dance video trend built on the chorus routine of the "No Scrubs" music video. People use AI to put themselves, their friends, streamers or game characters in the middle of the chrome set, with two dancers beside them and the song playing. People also call it the No Scrubs AI dance, the No Scrubs AI dance trend and No Scrubs music video AI.
"No Scrubs" is a 1999 song by TLC, the lead single of FanMail. It spent four weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and won two Grammy Awards. Its music video, directed by Hype Williams, is set in a futuristic space station with a dance in front of the TLC letters, and won Best Group Video at the 1999 MTV Video Music Awards. The trend remakes its chorus routine: the pose at the chrome TLC letters, the walk down the chrome corridor, the finger wag, the row of three, and the overhead shot.
On October 17, 2026, @warped.ai posted the first AI versions on TikTok, with streamers in the music video's set. On October 20, 2026, @herokobaa posted a Rainbow Six Siege version with the game's operators, which passed 1.4 million plays. On October 22, 2026, a one-photo CapCut template went up and was used more than 5,500 times within a day.
To make your own, you add one photo, and the person in it leads in the middle. The two dancers beside them are new. The lead keeps the clothes from the photo. A game character turns the whole video into a game cinematic.

For the best result, use a clear photo of one person facing the camera in good light, and a full body shot works best.
