Seedance 2.5 Official Website: 9 Results, 3 Are ByteDance
Seedance 2.5 has no standalone official website. ByteDance runs it in Dreamina, Jimeng, and BytePlus ModelArk. Here are all the real doors.

TL;DR — Seedance 2.5 has no standalone official website, because ByteDance never built one. The only three real doors are Dreamina for global users, Jimeng (with Doubao Pro) for users in China, and the BytePlus ModelArk API for developers. Everything else on that search page, including us, is a platform that runs the model, not its home.
You search for the model, look at page one, and find nine results that all claim to be the official home. But six of those nine results aren't ByteDance, and their titles don't tell you who runs them. Worse, one spec they all repeat doesn't appear on any rate card (the price list a platform charges you from).
Here's the straight answer on who makes the tool, where you can run it today, and how you can spot third-party wrappers in thirty seconds.
Who actually makes Seedance 2.5
ByteDance makes it. On 2026-07-31, ByteDance announced the launch and said so in its launch post: "Seedance 2.5 can generate high-quality, 30-second audio-video clips in a single pass" (see what Seedance 2.5 actually changed).
ByteDance says you can feed the model three kinds of reference files at once:
- Up to 30 images
- Up to 10 video clips
- Up to 10 audio clips
That's where the 50 references figure comes from: 30 plus 10 plus 10. ByteDance rolled out the model on Jimeng AI and Doubao Pro on that same day. Its model page says you can make a clip up to 30 seconds, with an option to extend twice.

ByteDance's model page for Seedance 2.5 on seed.bytedance.com, captured 2026-08-21. It is a research page — there is nothing here you can make a video with.
ByteDance's research site at seed.bytedance.com lists Home, Models, Blog & Publication, Seed Edge, and Join Us. You can't make clips or generate video there. It's a site for research papers and release notes, not a tool you can use.
Google already answers this, and it agrees
Google's own search summary gives the same answer. Here's what Google's AI Overview showed on 2026-08-21:
Seedance 2.5 does not have a standalone dedicated official website. Instead, the model is developed by ByteDance and officially hosted and accessed globally through ByteDance's AI creation platform, Dreamina. Enterprise and developer access is also managed through BytePlus ModelArk.
The same summary also says the output is "High-definition 4K cinematic video with native audio capabilities." That 4K claim breaks down once you look at the real rate cards, and we'll walk through why below.

Google's own summary for "seedance 2.5 official website", captured 2026-08-21. It names Dreamina and BytePlus ModelArk, and it repeats the 4K claim.
Every real door, at a glance
On 2026-08-21, page one held nine organic results. Nine results, three of them ByteDance — so two out of every three things on that page belong to somebody else.
Here's how each real door compares across access, features, and export rules:
| Door | Who runs it | What you get | Key limitation | Rating |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Dreamina | ByteDance | The global first-party app, 30-second clips, a 180-second beta mode | Not in the main generator's model list when you are logged out | ★★★★☆ |
| Jimeng and Doubao Pro | ByteDance | The China first-party apps; 2.5 is the default model | China-facing; the interface is Chinese | ★★★★☆ |
| BytePlus ModelArk | ByteDance | The official API, model id dreamina-seedance-2-5-260628 | You have to write the code yourself | ★★★★☆ |
| Higgsfield | Higgsfield | A full video suite with 2.5 inside it | Its entry plan does not include Seedance 2.5 | ★★★☆☆ |
| kie.ai | Kie | A reseller API, faster to wire up than the official one | A layer between you and ByteDance | ★★★☆☆ |
| Seadanse | Us | One clip at a time in the browser, no subscription needed, no watermark on export | Caps at 1080p and 30 seconds; no reference audio | ★★★☆☆ |
How we scored — one star each for:
- You can reach it without a subscription.
- It shows the cost before you start.
- It exports with no watermark.
- It publishes what it actually supports.
- You can reach it from outside China.
Sources are linked in each row.
If you want 4K video right now, that feature belongs to the Seedance 2.0 preset instead of 2.5.

You get free starter credits when you sign up, with no card needed. If you want more credits later, there's a $9.9 credit pack that needs no subscription, and your credits stay good for 12 months. The button shows the exact cost before you click, and a failed task refunds itself automatically.
The two first-party apps: Dreamina and Jimeng
ByteDance puts the model into two consumer apps, depending on where you live.
Dreamina: the global door, and 2.5 is not in its default picker
Dreamina is ByteDance's global app for creators. Its landing page is titled "Official Seedance 2.5: 4K & 30s AI Video Generator with Audio", and it says the model is officially live worldwide.

Dreamina's Seedance 2.5 landing page, captured 2026-08-21, with its own generate box already set to Seedance 2.5.
That page includes its own generate box set to Dreamina Seedance 2.5. It mentions 30-second clips and a beta long-video mode that goes up to 180 seconds. It also says paid plans add watermark-free downloads and smoother videos up to 60 FPS — so the free tier puts a watermark on what you export.

The model list in Dreamina's main video generator, logged out, captured 2026-08-21. Five models, and the list does not scroll.
But when you open Dreamina's main video generator while logged out, the picker shows something different. On 2026-08-21, the list offered five models: 2.0 Mini, 2.0 Fast, 2.0, 1.5 Pro, and 1.0 Mini. The list didn't scroll, and Seedance 2.5 was not in that list.
Jimeng and Doubao Pro: the China door, where 2.5 is the default
Jimeng is ByteDance's app for China. When you open Jimeng's video composer without logging in, Seedance 2.5 is already picked for you.

Jimeng's video composer, logged out, captured 2026-08-21. Seedance 2.5 is what it hands you by default.
On 2026-08-21, Jimeng defaulted to 16:9 at 720P for 5 seconds. Its prompt box says you can upload up to 50 reference files across text, images, video clips, and audio. ByteDance launched the model on Doubao Pro too.
This gap between the global and China apps is a likely reason people search for an official site in the first place.
The official API door: BytePlus ModelArk
If you're building software, ByteDance gives you backend access through BytePlus ModelArk. The official docs list the model id as dreamina-seedance-2-5-260628. For comparison, the older 2.0 model id is dreamina-seedance-2-0-260128.

ByteDance's own ModelArk price list, captured 2026-08-21. Rates blacked out on purpose — what matters is which rows exist. Seedance 2.5 has no 4K row, and the Seedance 2.0 row below it does.
ModelArk charges you from a rate card based on tokens. The rate changes with your output resolution and whether you used video references.
For Seedance 2.5, the table lists two resolution tiers:
- 480p and 720p
- 1080p
There's no 4K row for Seedance 2.5 on that list.
About that 4K claim
Many search results and product pages link Seedance 2.5 with 4K video. We checked four sources on 2026-08-21 to see what's actually there.
ByteDance's ModelArk rate card lists 480p/720p and 1080p tiers, with no 4K row. But the row for Seedance 2.0 directly below it lists three tiers: 480p/720p, 1080p, and 4K.
Other platform pages show a clear split between titles and price lists.
On kie.ai, the page title says "Seedance 2.5 API Now Available - 30s 4K AI Video on Kie.ai". But its rate card lists only 480P, 720P, and 1080P.

kie.ai's Seedance 2.5 rate card, captured 2026-08-21. Rates blacked out. The title says 4K; the tiers stop at 1080P.
Higgsfield takes a different route. Its page headline reads: "30 seconds in one take. 50 references in one pass. Native 1080p".

Higgsfield's Seedance 2.5 page, captured 2026-08-21. It is the one platform page in this list that names 1080p and stops there.
Dreamina's marketing page says you can "Create cinematic 4K videos with Seedance 2.5 unlimited in Dreamina".
So what's the verdict? Every rate card that charges for the pixels stops at 1080p.
ByteDance's own. kie.ai's. And Higgsfield doesn't claim 4K at all.
The 4K wording shows up in marketing titles, but on rate cards, 4K belongs to the Seedance 2.0 preset.
Four checks that tell you what a site really is
When you land on a page offering AI video, run these four checks:
- Does the page name the model's actual maker?
- Does it show the full cost before you generate?
- Does it export clean video without a watermark?
- Can you download your file and leave with it?
The same four checks work on any model page, not just this one — try them on Wan 3.0 or Hailuo 3.
Let's run all four checks out loud on Seadanse:
- Check 1: We state plainly that ByteDance makes the model.
- Check 2: We show the credit cost right on the button before you click.
- Check 3: We don't add watermarks to your exports.
- Check 4: You can download the video file straight to your device.
Now here's what we're worst at: we don't support reference audio, we don't have a 180-second mode, and we don't offer 4K on 2.5. If you need any of those three things, our site isn't the right fit today.
Where else you can run Seedance 2.5
You can also run it in three other places, depending on how you work.
kie.ai: best if you are wiring it into your own code
kie.ai resells the model through an API. Its rate card lists 480P, 720P, and 1080P tiers. The main tradeoff is that it puts one more company between your code and ByteDance.
Higgsfield: best if you already pay for a video suite
Higgsfield bundles the model into its video platform. It's a good pick if you already use their suite every day. But its entry plan doesn't include Seedance 2.5, so you'll need a higher tier to get it.
We spent a month on one of those plans and wrote up what one platform's unlimited actually meant.
Seadanse: best if you want one clip without a subscription
If you want to run Seedance 2.5 on Seadanse, you can make single clips in your browser without recurring billing.
Here is what you get:
- 480p, 720p, or 1080p output
- Six clip lengths: 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, or 30 seconds
- Six aspect ratios: 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, and 21:9
- Image and video reference uploads
- A prompt box that holds 10,000 characters
- No watermark on your exported files
To see how the credit packs work, check what a clip costs on Seadanse.
What is still unknown
A few details aren't covered in any public docs yet:
- Whether Dreamina renders 4K natively for Seedance 2.5 or upscales from a lower resolution.
- Whether Dreamina gates 2.5 by region, user account age, or paid tier.
- Whether the 180-second long-video mode will leave beta or stay limited.
- What the model id string is inside the China cloud console.
- How pricing will shift over time, which is why we don't list upstream API rates here.
How this list was made
We checked each platform by hand on 2026-08-21, opening logged-in and logged-out views in standard browsers. We read ByteDance's research post, checked ModelArk rate cards, and reviewed six vendor pages. What you see here reflects what was live on that single date.
The short answer, one more time
Seedance 2.5 doesn't have its own standalone website. ByteDance made it, hosts it globally in Dreamina and in China via Jimeng, and sells API access through BytePlus ModelArk.
Every other result is a platform running the model on top of those systems.
Want to make a clip without a subscription? Open the Seedance 2.5 generator. It sits on the Seedance 2.5 AI Video Maker home page, and the cost shows on the button before you click.
