AI Mugshot Generator: Make an AI Arrest Photo, Then a 10-Second Video
An AI mugshot generator on Seadanse turns one photo into a booking photo with Nano Banana 2 for 7 credits, then a 10-second arrest video for $9.90.
The team behind Seadanse. We run the models we write about, and we publish the specs, prices and limits the marketing leaves out.

TL;DR — An AI mugshot generator turns one photo into a booking photo with a height chart and a placard. Nano Banana 2 on Seadanse makes one for 7 credits at 1K.
The same photo then goes into AI Arrest Video for a 10-second clip of two officers walking you out at night, $9.90 at 720p with no account. Three copy-ready prompts below cover a booking mugshot, a walk out of the police station and an interrogation room.
You want a booking photo that still looks like you. But the arrest post going around social feeds right now is a video: the solo "getting arrested again" clip took off on TikTok in mid-September 2026.
Here's how you make both from one picture. Nano Banana 2 edits your photo into a booking photo, and AI Arrest Video turns the same photo into the clip.
The picture below starts with one photo of an AI-made woman. Next to it are the booking mugshot Nano Banana 2 made from it and her grin in the 10-second AI arrest video made from the same photo.

One photo, two results: the booking mugshot Nano Banana 2 made at 1K, and the same woman in the 10-second AI arrest video.
Here's what's below: five simple steps, three prompts to copy, what each image and video costs, and how to post your clip so everyone gets the joke. If you only want the clip, you can do the AI arrest trend step by step in our walkthrough.
What an AI mugshot generator does
An AI mugshot generator edits a normal photo of you into a police booking photo, with a height chart behind you and a placard in your hands. On Seadanse, that job runs on Nano Banana 2, Google DeepMind's image model (officially named Gemini 3.1 Flash Image), released on February 26, 2026.
Here are the three core parts of the booking photo:
- Custom placards: You write the words on the board. As Google puts it, "Nano Banana 2 allows you to generate accurate, legible text for marketing mockups or greeting cards."
- Authentic backdrops: The grey wall, the black height lines and the flat, harsh flash come straight from your prompt.
- Face preservation: Your face, hair, skin tone and outfit come from your photo, and Google says the model lets you "storyboard and build narratives without altering the appearance of your inputs."
What you need to make an AI mugshot
You'll only need five things to make your booking photo and video:
- A photo: You'll need one clear picture of yourself in good light.
- A free Seadanse account: You sign up with no card on the Nano Banana 2 image generator page, and you'll get 40 starter credits, enough for five 1K mugshots.
- Credits for each image: Credits are what you pay for images and videos with on Seadanse. It's 7 credits for a 1K image, 11 for 2K or 16 for 4K.
- $9.90 for the video: You'll pay $9.90 once if you want the 10-second video at 720p, and you won't need an account.
- A browser: You run everything on your phone, tablet or computer, with no app to install, no API key and no Gemini subscription.
Step 1: Pick one photo for your AI mugshot and your video
One photo can make both the AI mugshot and the arrest video when it shows one adult with a clear face in good light.
Here's what works best:
- One adult: The photo must show a person who's 18 or older, and you'll confirm that "I have the right to use these photos, and every person in them is 18 or older."
- Clear face: Face the camera directly so the AI clearly reads your features.
- Knee-up or full body: Knee-up or full-body shots keep the walk, the handcuffs and your outfit in view.
- File: You can upload a JPG, PNG or WebP file up to 30 MB.
The photo in this guide is a full-body shot of an AI-made woman on a city street at night.

The one photo used in this guide: one adult, full body, clear face, good light.
Step 2: Upload your photo to the AI mugshot generator
Open Nano Banana 2 on Seadanse to begin editing your picture.
When you're signed out, the main button reads "Sign in to generate". Sign up free with no card to collect your 40 starter credits.
Next, click the + on the left of the prompt box to add your photo. In the bar under the box, leave "Text/Image to Image" and "Nano Banana 2" as they are.

Step 2 on the live page, October 8, 2026: add your photo with the + button, then sign in to generate.
Step 3: Paste a mugshot prompt (three scenes to copy)
A good mugshot prompt says what to change, what to keep and the exact words for the board. Google DeepMind's prompt guide explains that you should put the exact words in quotes and name the shape you want.
Copy one prompt below, paste it into the box, and change the board words to your own joke.
Booking mugshot with your own placard
This prompt creates a classic booking photo against a grey wall with height lines, while you're holding a black letter board with white letters.
Turn the person in the uploaded photo into a police booking photo. Keep their face, hair, skin tone and outfit exactly as they are. Frame them from the chest up, centered, against a light grey wall with black height lines marked in feet. They hold a black letter board at chest height with white block letters that read "IF BEING CUTE WAS A CRIME" on the first line and "BOOKING NO. 1008" on the second. Flat, harsh flash from the front, a small knowing smirk, eye-level camera, photorealistic, vertical 4:5.
AI arrest photo: walked out of the police station in handcuffs
This prompt places you outside on the steps of a police station at night, cuffed behind your back between two officers while flashing cameras light the scene.
Use the person in the uploaded photo and keep their face, hair, skin tone and outfit exactly as they are. At night, two uniformed police officers walk them down the front steps of a police station, their hands cuffed behind their back. Photographers on the sidewalk flash their cameras, and red and blue lights from a patrol car glow on the stone wall. The person looks straight into the camera with a confident grin. Plain dark uniforms with no names, badges or patches. News-photo look, eye level, photorealistic, vertical 9:16.
Interrogation room with a one-way mirror
This prompt sits you at a scratched metal table under a hanging light, cuffed in front of a dark one-way mirror with a cup of coffee.
Use the person in the uploaded photo and keep their face, hair, skin tone and outfit exactly as they are. They sit at a scratched metal table in a police interrogation room, hands cuffed in front of them, next to a paper cup of coffee. One hanging lamp lights the table from above, and a dark one-way mirror fills the wall behind them. They lean back and smirk at the camera as if they have nothing to hide. Moody, high-contrast light, eye level, photorealistic, vertical 4:5.

Step 4: Pick 1K, 2K or 4K and generate your mugshot
Nano Banana 2's Render settings button (it reads 1K) opens the size and shape menu.
Here are the resolutions you can choose:
- 1K: 7 credits, the default size (about 1,000 pixels across).
- 2K: 11 credits, which adds extra sharpness for tighter crops.
- 4K: 16 credits, which measures 4096×4096 for a square.
Choose 4:5 for the booking photo and the interrogation room, 9:16 for the walk out of the station or a story, or 1:1 for a profile picture. Click Generate. If an image fails or it's rejected, its credits come back automatically.

Step 4: pick the size and the shape in Render settings. 1K is picked when it opens.
Step 5: Turn the same photo into a 10-second AI arrest video
Open the AI Arrest Video Generator and upload the same photo you used for the mugshot; knee-up or full body works best.
Here's what you pick on the page:
- Solo: Solo is picked by default to focus on one person.
- Portrait 9:16: Portrait 9:16 is picked by default for mobile feeds, though you're free to choose Landscape 16:9.
- 720p: 720p is picked when the page opens. It's 500 credits, so one 720p video uses the whole $9.90 pack. 480p is 375 credits, and 1080p is 1,480.
- Create · $9.90: Click this button, where the line beside it confirms: "No account needed: pay once and your video starts right here."
You'll get one 10-second MP4 with sound and no watermark on exported video.
At night, two officers walk you out of your front door in handcuffs while red-and-blue lights sweep across the house. On the way to the police car, you turn to the camera, raise an eyebrow and grin. The audio track includes sirens, police radio chatter and footsteps.
You can also use the optional note line to change your setting or clothes. The page suggests "walking out of a glass office lobby in a suit", with help text noting: "The arrest and the look into the camera stay the same. Name a place or an outfit and it happens there."
AI Arrest Video is one of Seadanse's AI video effects and runs on Seedance 2.5, ByteDance's video model, released on July 31, 2026. If a video fails, its credits come back automatically.

Step 5, signed out on October 8, 2026: 720p is picked when the page opens, and the price is on the button.
Use your AI mugshot for a meme, a profile picture or a story
An AI mugshot works as a meme, a profile picture or a scene in a story, and where it goes decides the shape you pick.
Here are the best ways to share your booking pictures and clips:
- Group chat: Send the booking mugshot with an inside joke written on the board.
- Profile picture: Choose 1:1 for a square crop that fits social avatars.
- TikTok, Reels and Shorts: Share the 9:16 arrest photo or the 10-second video with captions people use, such as "Not bro, getting arrested again" or "if being cute was a crime".
- Friends and pets: Try group and pet AI arrest videos. The Group scene takes a photo of 2 to 6 adults, and the AI picks one friend to cuff. The Pet scene takes one dog or cat.
- A story or a cover: Use the interrogation room photo as the cover art for a short story or creative video.

AI mugshot generator FAQ
What's the difference between an AI mugshot and an AI arrest photo?
An AI mugshot is the booking photo: the wall, the height lines and the placard board. An AI arrest photo shows the arrest scene itself, such as officers, handcuffs and the police station front steps.
People also search for this style as police arrest AI photo editing. In Google's keyword data, that phrase reached 480 searches worldwide in December 2025, its biggest month.
Is there an AI arrested generator for video?
Yes, AI Arrest Video makes a 10-second clip from one photo, costing $9.90 at 720p with no account. If you'd rather write a whole custom arrest scene yourself, image to video AI turns a photo into a video up to 30 seconds long.
Can I put my own words on the mugshot placard?
Yes, you can write your own words directly on the board. Put your exact words in quotes inside your prompt, one line at a time, just like the booking prompt shown above.
Will my AI mugshot still look like me?
Your face, hair, skin tone and outfit come straight from your photo. All three prompts in this guide instruct Nano Banana 2 to keep your identity, matching your original look across the generated scene.
Can I make an AI mugshot of my dog or cat?
Yes, you can make pet mugshots by uploading a clear photo of your pet and listing features to keep, such as fur color and collar. In addition, AI Arrest Video offers a Pet scene where officers lead your dog or cat out of the house as it looks back at the camera.
Is it okay to post an AI mugshot, and are my photos private?
Use your own photo, or one from an adult friend who's given you permission. Put made-up jokes on the board, and don't use real names or real department titles. As our AI Arrest Video page puts it, "The scene is staged, and you grin at the camera so viewers see right away that it is a joke."
Seadanse runs no facial recognition on your photos, collects no biometric data, never sells personal information, and keeps your files private until you delete them.
Make your AI mugshot and your arrest video tonight
One uploaded portrait lets you make your AI mugshot with Nano Banana 2 for 7 credits at 1K, keeping your real face above your own board words. When you're ready for the full story, use that exact same picture to make your 10-second AI arrest video for $9.90 at 720p without creating an account.
