7 Best Pollo AI Alternatives in 2026 (Prices Checked)

TL;DR — Pollo AI runs almost every major video model. But people leave when monthly credits vanish, discounts need a paid plan, or tasks stay capped on unlimited tiers.

We opened all seven on 2026-08-24 and read the prices off their own pages, naming the real limitation for each one. If you want Seedance 2.5 at 1080p with credits that stay valid for a full year, pick the Seedance 2.5 AI Video Maker. If you'd rather have a complete video editor wrapped around the models, pick Runway.

You looked at the generator on Pollo AI and saw a price like 37 credits with 75 struck through beside it. That discount holds only while you pay for an active subscription, and any unused credits you bought disappear when the billing month ends. Here's seven places that run the same class of models, what each costs to get into, and the one thing each gets wrong.

We scored every tool across five areas: model shelf, credit fairness, price transparency, tools around the model, and how easily you can get in without a subscription. No row scores a perfect five, including ours.

Why People Look for a Pollo AI Alternative

The biggest reason creators switch is how monthly balances work under Pollo AI's billing rules. According to the Pollo AI pricing FAQ, "No, unused subscription credits do not carry over to the next billing cycle." If you buy a plan and don't make enough videos before renewal, your remaining credits vanish.

The second issue is how the site shows generation prices. On the Pollo AI Seedance 2.5 generator, a 5-second 480p clip shows 37 credits with 75 struck through next to it. That 37-credit rate is a promo price for paid members, while the standard rate is double.

Pollo AI's generator bar set to Seedance 2.5 at 480p and 5 seconds, showing a price of 37 credits with 75 struck through. Pollo AI's own generator, 2026-08-24: Seedance 2.5 at 480p for 5 seconds reads 37, with the standard rate of 75 struck through beside it.

The third pain point is how unlimited tiers and refunds work. Pollo limits parallel tasks (how many videos the platform will make for you at once) based on your plan:

  • Free: 1 parallel task
  • Lite: 2 parallel tasks
  • Pro: 4 parallel tasks
  • Ultra: 6 parallel tasks, rising up to 10 on the largest plan

Its unlimited tiers also carry a footnote: "Unlimited usage may be subject to dynamic speed adjustments during high-traffic periods." On refunds, you get a 3-day window on subscription credits, while one-time add-on packs aren't refundable.

Pollo still has real strengths. It's got a massive shelf including Seedance 2.0, Veo 3, Sora 2, Minimax H3, and cheap house models like Pollo 2.5, where a 5-second clip costs 5 credits. It's also got an AI video editor, avatars, and ad tools in one login.

What to Look for in a Pollo AI Alternative

Use these five points when you compare video platforms:

  • The model you came for: Check whether the site carries the exact version you're after, like Kling O3, rather than an older release.
  • Credit lifespan: Look for credits that stay valid for a full year so you don't lose paid balance at month's end.
  • Upfront pricing: Make sure the price you see on the generator is what's deducted. You can use a video cost calculator to see what a clip costs before you commit.
  • Entry without a yearly plan: Pick tools that give you free starter credits or small packs before you commit to monthly billing.
  • Parallel jobs: Check how many clips you can generate at the same time so you aren't stuck waiting on single jobs.

Different platforms make different tradeoffs. Seadanse gives you long-lasting credits and clean exports, but drops timeline editing tools. Runway gives you post-production tools, but it'll reset your credits on most plans every month.

Seadanse: Best for Seedance 2.5 at 1080p Without a Subscription

You can run Seedance 2.5 in the browser on Seadanse with no API key. It runs text to video, image to video, and motion transfer with audio turned on by default.

The generator supports durations of 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 seconds. You can pick between six aspect ratios: 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, and 21:9. You can also attach reference pictures and reference clips to guide your shot, with up to 10,000 characters in the prompt box.

The standout feature is simple access with fair credit terms. You'll get free starter credits when you sign up, without entering a card.

We sell a $9.9 credit pack that doesn't need a subscription, and credits stay valid for 12 months. If a job fails or gets interrupted, your credits return automatically, and exported videos don't carry watermarks.

Here's the real limits on Seadanse:

  • The Seedance 2.5 preset tops out at 1080p, while 4K belongs to our Seedance 2.0 preset.
  • Single generations stop at 30 seconds per clip.
  • There's no clip extension tool and no support for reference audio.
  • The platform doesn't have Pollo's avatar generator, face swap tools, or marketing ad builder.

You can buy Seadanse credit packs for $9.9 without signing up for monthly billing.

Open the generator, type your scene, pick Seedance 2.5, set the duration, and click Generate.

Runway: Best When You Want an Editor Around the Models

Runway builds creative editing tools directly around AI models. You can generate video using Gen-4.5, Seedance 2.5, Kling 3.0, and Nano Banana Pro, while keeping your files inside one workspace.

Runway's pricing page showing the Free, Standard, Pro, Max and Enterprise plans with their monthly credits and model lists. Runway's plan cards, 2026-08-24 — Max is the only tier that rolls credits over, and only for one month.

The standout feature is the production tooling bundled into each plan:

  • Standard: Lists "No watermarks" as a paid feature for video exports.
  • Pro: Adds custom voices for lip sync and text to speech, plus 500GB of file storage and unlimited Topaz AI upscaling.
  • Max: Adds studio export formats like ProRes and image sequences, plus HDR generations up to 16 bit.

The main limitation is credit expiration on standard tiers. Monthly credits on Standard and Pro don't roll over when your billing cycle resets. Only the top-tier Max plan lets you roll credits over, and even there, you'll roll them over for only one month.

Entry starts with a free tier offering 125 one-time credits. Paid plans run from $12 to $76 a month billed annually on the Runway pricing page.

Magnific: Best All-in-One Credit Pool for Video, Image and Audio

Visiting Freepik's creative pricing page sends you straight to Magnific. The suite pools your balance across video, image, audio, 3D, design, and mockups under one roof.

Magnific's plan comparison table listing Seedance 2.5 at 1080p for 3,160 credits for a 4-second clip, across the Premium, Premium+ and Pro plans. Magnific, formerly Freepik, 2026-08-24 — Seedance 2.5 at 1080p costs 3,160 credits for a 4-second clip, which is 75 videos a year on the entry plan.

The standout feature is having all creative media in one place. If you build marketing files where you'll need graphics, background audio, 3D mockups, and AI video together, one subscription handles the whole set.

The drawback is that video uses up credits fast. Seedance 2.5 at 1080p costs 3,160 credits for a 4-second clip, even with a 28% discount badge. On the entry Premium plan with 240,000 annual credits, that buys you just 75 short video clips across the entire year.

Plans cost between $14.50 and $210 a month billed annually on the Magnific plans page, and prices exclude VAT and local taxes.

Higgsfield: Best for Short Unlimited Windows on Kling and Nano Banana

Higgsfield sells video generation plans with regular promotional perks. Its shelf includes Kling 3.0, Seedance 2.0, Seedance 2.0 Fast, Seedance 1.5, Seedance Pro, Grok Video, and Veo 3.

Higgsfield's pricing page showing the Starter, Plus and Ultra plans with their monthly credits and unlimited promotion banner. Higgsfield's plans, 2026-08-24 — the cards count Seedance 2.0 videos, and the unlimited offer is a seven-day window.

The standout perk is short unlimited generation windows on specific models. For example, its Ultra plan includes a seven-day unlimited window on Nano Banana 2 and Nano Banana Pro, letting you generate heavily during project sprints.

The limitations are clear on the pricing cards:

  • There's no Seedance 2.5 row anywhere on the plan table.
  • Plan cards estimate video counts using Seedance 2.0, like roughly 15 Seedance 2.0 Fast videos on Starter or 53 on Plus.
  • Parallel jobs run at 1 on Starter, 2 on Plus, 6 on Ultra, and 8 on the largest tier.
  • Unlimited generation works only on the website, not on MCP, CLI, Canvas, or Supercomputer.
  • Usage is subject to dynamic speed adjustments during busy periods.

Higgsfield costs between $19 and $99 a month billed annually on the Higgsfield pricing table.

Krea: Cheapest Way Into a Full Model Shelf

Krea sells monthly compute units you spend across its image and video models. The site states that it's trusted by 40 million subscribers.

Krea's pricing page showing the Basic, Pro and Max plans with monthly compute units and the number of Seedance 2.0 videos each buys. Krea's plans, 2026-08-24 — Basic is the cheapest way in here, and it opens up only some video models.

The main draw is the entry price. At $5 a month on an annual plan, Basic gives you 5,000 compute units, making it the cheapest way in on this list.

Here's what you'll need to know about Krea's plans and limits:

  • Basic ($5/mo): Gives 5,000 units (about 20 Seedance 2.0 videos), but gets only "Selected video models".
  • Pro ($21/mo): Gives 20,000 units (about 83 Seedance 2.0 videos) and gets "All video models".
  • Max ($63/mo): Gives 60,000 units (about 250 Seedance 2.0 videos) and gets "All video models".
  • Monthly compute units don't roll over to the next month.
  • One-time compute packs stay valid for 90 days.

You can check tier details directly on the Krea pricing page.

fal: Best Pay-As-You-Go Route for Developers

fal is a platform built for developers who want to run media generation through code and APIs. You plug endpoints into your own apps and pay only for the GPU time you use.

fal's Seedance 2.5 page describing native 30-second video at up to 720p from text, an image or up to 50 references. fal's Seedance 2.5 page, 2026-08-24 — 30 seconds in one pass, capped at 720p on fal.

The standout feature is paying strictly for what you generate, with no monthly plans or expiring balances. You're billed directly for server runtime, starting as low as $1.89 an hour for an H100 GPU.

The fal Seedance 2.5 endpoint supports native 30-second clips from text, single images, or up to 50 reference files (images, clips, audio). Note that the sample media on fal's page was generated with Dreamina Seedance 2.5 and published by BytePlus, not generated via fal's API.

The catch is that fal's sold to developers and billed per run. What you get's a playground and an API, not an editing workspace or a client-facing project. In addition, fal's Seedance 2.5 setup caps resolution at 720p.

You can inspect raw compute rates on the fal pricing dashboard.

Dreamina: Best First-Party Route to ByteDance's Own Models

Dreamina is ByteDance's own web app for its image and video tools. It runs inside the CapCut family and promotes events like a "Dreamina Seedance 2.5 3D Reference Creative Contest" on its events rail.

Dreamina's signed-out generator with the model set to Dreamina Seedance 2.0 Mini at 16:9, 720P and 5 seconds. Dreamina signed out, 2026-08-24 — the default model is Seedance 2.0 Mini, and there is no price anywhere on the page.

The advantage is using ByteDance's models directly on its own home surface. If you want direct access to the creator of Seedance, this is the first-party door.

The limitation is poor price transparency when you aren't logged in. If you visit signed out, the pricing address redirects straight to the home feed, hiding plan rates until you've registered. The signed-out generator defaults to Seedance 2.0 Mini at 720p and doesn't list Seedance 2.5 in its public menu.

To see plan prices, you've got to log in directly on the Dreamina web app.

How This List Was Made

We opened every pricing page and generator panel in a clean browser window on 2026-08-24 to pull current numbers. Plan prices reflect annual billing where the site's default opens on that view. We've captured live screenshots for each entry and verified specific limitations on each vendor's page.

We scored our own platform under the exact same standard. Seadanse loses half a star because we don't offer timeline editing, face swapping, or avatar tools, focusing strictly on model generation. We haven't given ourselves a perfect score either.

Look at the tradeoffs above and pick the platform that matches what you'll create and how you'll spend your credits.
